Get a taste of local art at Frameworks Gallery

Pieces from Baton Rouge artists Rosemary Goodell and Van Wade-Day will be on display at Frameworks Gallery (8501 Highland Rd.), starting this week. On Friday, the gallery hosts a free opening reception at 6 p.m. for the artists’ latest exhibit. Wade-Day’s work features floral and organic forms, similar to traditional still life pieces. Goodell experiments with printmaking, showing off bold shapes and colors. The works can be seen Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., through July 5.
