George Rodrigue – Artist on New Orleans

“For breakfast, I typically walk to the Marigny for breakfast at La Paniche. Lunch is at Jack Dempsey’s or the Joint. At night for dinner and fun, we go to either Ruth’s Chris, Jack Dempsey’s or 1179. As far as New Orleans art, The Ogden Museum of Southern Art and the sculpture garden at the New Orleans Museum of Art are my abosolute favorites.

I also enjoy several of the city’s artist-owned galleries and would make time to visit them on a perfect day. My favorites are the galleries of Mallory Page, David Harouni and James Michalopoulos.”
