Gas, Food and Lodging in full swing
The Gas Food and Lodging Festival has hit stride over the past week at three local music venues. The festival, which encompasses more than 30 different artists stopping in Baton Rouge on their way to or from the annual South by Southwest Music, Film and Interactive Conference in Austin, began on March 8th and continues throughout the next week.
Gas Food and Lodging takes its organizational cues from the bigger festival whose comings and goings made GFL possible. The performances are spread out over a period of time and multiple locations, much like SXSW.
If you haven’t made it out to any of these venues yet, there is plenty of time left to do so, with events taking place at Spanish Moon, Mud & Water and The Varsity Theater through March 23. Check below for the full remaining schedule of events and be sure to take advantage of the opportunity to see some of these diverse artists as they make their way through Baton Rouge.
