Galatoire’s Bistro offers Broadway-style menu

As Broadway productions kick off in Baton Rouge, Galatoire’s Bistro will offer a three-course dinner menu on performance nights, beginning at 5 p.m. The menu will be available on the evenings of major productions visiting the Capital City, including Thursday, Nov. 7; Monday, Nov. 11, Friday, Nov. 22; Sunday, Dec. 15; Friday, Jan. 24; Sunday, Feb. 16; and Thursday, March 6. Some of the productions include Fahrenheit 451 at the Manship Theatre, and The Addams Family, American Idiot, Bring It On: The Musical and more.

The menu includes first course options such as sautéed Louisiana shrimp served with fried eggplant and New Orleans-style Beurre Blanc, Salad Maison, or a duck and andouille gumbo. The entrée selections are fried gulf amandine served with broccoli hollandaise, chicken Clemenceau topped with mushrooms, peas, Brabant potatoes and a garlic chicken jus, and more. Dessert choices include bread pudding or caramel cup custard.
