Sometimes there is just not enough time in the day. I have to remember that being a mom comes first. Work always comes second—but it has to be a tight second.

Really make sure to leave work at work. Some things come up when I’m at home, but I try to handle them quickly without letting it affect my time with my family. Also, make the kids a part of what you do. Mine love to come to my store, watch me work, learn how to do everything and meet people.

We have an awesome game we play everyday when I pick them up from school. We tell each other about our days in different accents. It is hilarious, and it gets them to really tell me all about their day.
