•    Baton Rouge Gallery’s First Wednesday is rescheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 24, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The show will feature the latest works from artists Jenny Authement, Michael W. Howes, Margaret Humphris and Kathryn Hunter. However, the Gallery’s Sundays@4 program is still on as planned. Check in Friday, Sept. 19 for southern-fried country rock from Hip Boot Joe.•    Last weekend’s Arts Market downtown was supposed to be rescheduled for this Saturday, but the pending Hurricane Ike will keep it postponed until October.•    Gallery N’s show, Art for the Price of a Stamp?, which would have been Saturday, Sept. 13, has been cancelled; new date not yet set.•    Ann Connelly’s premiere opening at her new art gallery in Southdowns. You’ll have to visit, possibly in October, to see the work of featured artist Saliha Staib. No date set yet.•    Lost Bayou Ramblers’ CD release party at Chelsea’s last weekend was cancelled, and a raincheck date has yet to be set.
