Fun at the Greater Baton Rouge State Fair

The Greater Baton Rouge State Fair kicks off this Thursday, with rides, food, and music for all ages. You and your kids can munch on cotton candy while taking in the view from the top of the fair’s giant Ferris wheel. Groove to funky acts from Allison Collins to David St. Romain. General admission is $5, and $15 gets you a ride-all-day wristband for the dozens of carnival rides. The fairgrounds are 7 miles south of I-12 at Bayou Manchac.
