Fruit Bat folk

It’s a folksy Friday at the Spanish Moon as the Seattle-based Fruit Bats take to the stage. Led by Eric Johnson of The Shins, the band has retained their indie sound through an ever-changing member list. They’ll be performing songs from their latest album, The Ruminant Band, released last month. Supporting act Death Vessel is another great folk group, led by German-born soprano crooner Joel Thibodeau. Tickets are $12. 10 p.m.
