From 225: The Taco Hunt
The taco has become as common as pizza and hotdogs and is a staple in Tex-Mex restaurants. But for 225 contributor Maggie Heyn Richardson, “a real taco can be so much more than its processed distant cousin.” Thanks to the steady growth of authentic taquerias in Baton Rouge over the past decade, there are more legitimate taco possibilities. In the October issue of 225, Richardson highlights four standouts, including La Mexicana on Siegen Lane (Map it!).
