From 225: Jay Ducote on Le Creolé’s crab cakes
Chef and 225 blogger Jay Ducote took a drive over to Le Creolé, a seafood and Creole restaurant on East Petroleum Drive, to try a top-selling item—the crab cake.
At $14, the crab cake is a pan-seared delight, made without breadcrumbs, and composed with very few ingredients besides the crabmeat. The dish is always available, but you won’t find it on the menu. The restaurant relies on its servers and word-of-mouth to promote it.
