French movies from dusk ’til dawn

Laissez les bon temps roulez on Friday, when the Center for French and Francophone studies at LSU presents its fifth annual night of Francophone cinema. Between courses of baguettes, desserts, wine and cheese, you’ll enjoy four of the finest French-language films, some of which have never before screened in the United States. Once you’re done watching The Chorus, Tanguy, The Necessities of Life and I Killed My Mother, refresh with a French breakfast of croissants and coffee before heading home to spend the rest of Saturday in lazy contemplation. 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. $20 general admission, $10 for students. Visit manshiptheatre.org for more details.
