Fred Hersch at Manship

Fred Hersch is considered to be one of the most prolific and celebrated solo jazz pianists of his generation. Vanity Fair magazine has proclaimed this three-time Grammy nominee as “…the most arrestingly innovative pianist in jazz over the last decade or so.” He balances his internationally-recognized instrumental skills with significant achievements as a composer, bandleader, and theatrical conceptualist, while remaining in-demand as a collaborator with other noted bandleaders and vocalists.
