Fred Claus on DVD

In the nick of time, Wedding Crashers star Vince Vaughn’s overlooked Christmas comedy is headed to the DVD racks. Vaughn plays—you guessed it— Santa’s brother who’s forced to move to the North Pole and help out his bro and all the elves celebrate the spirit. Paul Giamatti (of Sideways) is positively hamming it up here, but if all the copies of A Christmas Story and It’s a Wonderful Life are checked out, pick this one up for a couple of laughs. Rated PG.
