Frame to Frame presents Oscar award-winning film
In the 1940s, entertainment had a totally different meaning. Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelley and Jerry the Mouse (of Tom and Jerry fame) could star in a film and garner a few awards. And that’s exactly what they did in the 1945 classic musical Anchors Aweigh. The LSU Museum of Art will screen the film this Thursday, Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Manship Theatre. A toast precedes the screening at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for MOA and Manship members. $15 for non-members.
