Four local rock bands team up for clean water efforts Sunday – Plus a complete list of other shows happening this weekend.
Sunday evening at Mud and Water (Map it!) promises to be a rocking time, thanks to a stacked bill of local bands including Circa Amore, Cattle Drive, Baby Boy and The Melters. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Lower Mississippi Riverkeeper and Gulf Restoration Network. Raffles and prize drawings will also be held. Doors open at 7 p.m. Cover is $5.
Brad Walker Quartet. Modern jazz with elements of R&B, street music and rock. Mud and Water. 9:30 p.m. $6.
Rock N Rowe. Variety music from Carbon Copy in the weekly free concert series at Perkins Rowe. 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
Levee Daze. Funk jams with a splash of jazz and blues. Mud and Water. 9 p.m. $6.

David Bazan. Thought-provoking singer-songwriter performs at The Haven Gallery and Listening Room. 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here.
99000 AD, Circa Amore. Brash funk and young rockers hit the Chelsea’s Café stage. 10:30 p.m. $5.
Jason Martin, Pacifico, Minos the Saint. Three pop-rock bands play at Mud and Water. Doors at 8 p.m. Show starts at 9 p.m. $8.
Dustin Lynch. The Nashville singer-songwriter performs with The Cadillac Three at the Texas Club. Doors at 7:30 p.m. Show starts at 9 p.m. Advance tickets are $17 and available through Ticketmaster. 18 and up.
Live After Five. The soul/funk band Hai Karate performs in this week’s edition of the springtime free concert series in Repentance Park. 5 p.m.-8 p.m.
Syllable 7. Local party rockers perform their final show. Klandi Figures and Bujie and the Highrise will open. The Library at Northgate. 9 p.m.
Whalebird, Trailer Hounds, Moonsugar. A trio of funk bands perform at the Varsity Theatre. Doors open at 8 p.m. Show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 the day of the show.
Meriwether. Local hard rock veterans return to the stage at the Varsity Theatre. Doors open at 8 p.m. Show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance.
Debauche. Russian mafia music. Mud and Water. Doors open at 8 p.m. Show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets range from $8 and can be purchased via Mud and Water’s Facebook page.
Michael Foster Project. Funk, hip-hop, R&B and everything in between at Chelsea’s Café. 10:30 p.m.
Donny Broussard & The Louisiana Stars. Cajun French Music Association’s dance concert at UCT Hall, 11175 Florida Blvd. 8 p.m. All ages are welcome.
Ramblin’ Jack Elliot. One of the great folk country singer-songwriters performs at Red Dragon Listening Room. The Wilder Janes will open. 8 p.m. $100 seat donation.
Sunday in the Park. Southern rockers Route 90 perform in the final edition of the weekly free springtime concert series. North Boulevard’s Town Square. Noon-3 p.m.
