Fishnet-wearing roller derby vixens return for bout

The first home game last month drew a thousand fans to the new-to-Baton-Rouge sport of roller derby, and the lovely ladies of Red Stick stomped the visiting team from Florida by a whopping 123-74. The wild show—featuring fishnet stocking-clad vixens uncontrollably crashing into the audience, mowing one another down, drawing gasps and cheers—returns for a second home game (they call ‘em bouts). Only this time they duke it out with the Big Easy Rollergirls—this should be as intense as the Bayou Classic, when Southern faces Grambling.
