Films ‘al fresco’

Baton Rouge Gallery’s lauded summer film series, Movies & Music on the Lawn, returns Saturday with a special screening of early silent sci-fi epic Aelita: Queen of Mars, set to a never-before-heard score by jazz/funk fusion band Captain Green. The film airs on a towering inflatable screen on the lawn behind BRG, within BREC’s historic City Park. The screening begins at sundown, and the $5 price of admission includes unlimited free popcorn.
