Festival of Lights kicks off Friday

‘Tis the season! Downtown Baton Rouge will get in the holiday spirit with the annual Festival of Lights celebration at North Boulevard Town Square Friday at 5 p.m. The event will include city officials turning the switch on half a million sparkling lights, including a 35-foot Christmas tree as well as ice skating, music, fireworks, roving performers and the annual Forum 35 Reindeer Run.
