Emmy award-winner Debbie Allen and her dance academy return to the Capital City. Allen’s academy will perform Pepito’s Story, starting Thursday at 7 p.m. The musical play follows Pepito, a young boy who loves to dance and will follow his dream even though other kids laugh at him. The Kennedy Center commissioned the performance, which includes choreography by Allen. Jazz superstar Arturo Sandoval wrote the score. Performances continue Friday at 7 p.m. There will be 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. performances Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $20.
