Enjoy an afternoon tea and more at the Rural Life Museum
The LSU Rural Life and Textile and Costume museums are jointly hosting a special English-style tea menu Saturday at 2 p.m. in the museum’s visitor center. The event, dubbed “Afternoon Tea, Fashion and Fancies,” features a fashion show with hats created by New York designer June Gumbel and jewelry from Jane Olson-Phillips. Tickets are $60 for those ages 13 or older, and $25 for those under 13 years old. For more information and to purchase tickets, call 765-2437.
