Engineer some fun at LASM

As the engineering field grows across the nation, so does involvement in youth programs, and Baton Rouge is no different. The Louisiana Art & Science Museum invites parents and children aged 6-12 to participate in Engineer It. The hands-on workshop teaches attendees engineering basics such as balance and force through a model bridge-building exercises. Kids learn reasoning skills and use problem-solving tactics in a fun environment with parents. Sign-up begins at 10 a.m. Registration is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
