The Louisiana Art & Science Museum hosts a hands-on engineering workshop this weekend. The museum’s Engineer It program kicks off at 1 p.m. Saturday and features activities that are fun for the entire family. The event includes bridge building and more engineering concepts such as force, balance and stability, and teaching participants creative problem solving strategies. Engineer It is designed for children ages 6-12. Space is limited, and participation is offered on a first come, first served basis. Sign-in is at 10 a.m. Admission is $7.25 for adults and $6.25 for children.
