Finding balance. Having opened my own practice, I have put lots of time and focus into opening my business. With the birth of my son, my focus has totally shifted. I try my best to keep work stress at work. Now when I walk in the door at home I am 100% Mommy.

Find ways to connect with other working moms—maybe even a mother at your workplace. It’s nice to have someone who understands you and your life.

When I’m not working, I take Hamlin to a Baby Boot Camp class called Strollfit. We utilize our strollers and babies to get a pretty darn good workout. It has been a great way for both Hamlin and I to make friends. And I love that I’m hopefully instilling healthy habits at an early age.
