Eighth-generation Kleinpeter leads cemetery lecture

Learn about the city’s historic cemetery gems as the Mid City Historical Cemeteries Coalition host a lecture Saturday on “Highland Cemetery and Beyond: History and Preservation in Baton Rouge’s Historic Cemeteries.” Kenny Kleinpeter, an eighth-generation Baton Rougean, talks about the cemeteries in Baton Rouge starting at 7 p.m. at the St. Joseph Cathedral Parish Hall at 412 North St. Expect refreshments and to see plenty of local student artwork and photography.
