Eating in Death Valley

Everyone knows you get good and stuffed before you enter Tiger Stadium—tailgating krewes and barbecuing friends usually see to that. But what about once you walk through the gates? Don’t worry—Death Valley has plenty to keep your energy up so you can cheer the Tigers on to victory! Chick-fil-A: The popular fast food chain will be hawking their tasty chicken sandwiches throughout the walkways in the stadium—just wander for a little while and you’ll run into one. Chick-N-Grill: This new restaurant—which also boasts a location on LSU Campus—will be offering a healthy chicken burrito at the north endzone and lower south areas of the stadium. Geaux Nuts: Assortments of glazed pecans, peanuts, almonds and more will satisfy your protein craving at the south lower and south top areas, and upper deck east. Hello Sushi: Back for the third year in a row, this popular local sushi joint will serve up California rolls, edamame and fruit cups in three booths at the north endzone, as well as south lower and top. Maui Wowie: Grab something other than soda at these fruity smoothie stands at south top, south lower and west ground—they’ll also whip up hot chocolate if the weather turns cold before the season is up! New Orleans Chill: It’s your typical—but tasty—event food at this vendor, with cotton candy, snoballs and fresh-squeezed lemonade at south lower, south top, upper east, upper west and west ground. Papa John’s Pizza: This cheesy, delightfully greasy pizza is available virtually throughout the stadium. Smoothie King: Cool off with a fresh fruit smoothie from this national chain—available in the north endzone, south lower and south top areas of the stadium. Triple B’s: The most prolific of the vendors in the stadium, they serve up everything from jambalaya and hamburgers to dippin’ dots and alligator sausage, and can be found in every section.  VooDoo BBQ: Offering their usual pulled pork and barbecue, you’ll feel like you’re back out tailgating when you bite into these tasty sandwiches.
