Eat ‘til you drop at the 2013 Jambalaya Jam – As the weather gets cooler, a taste of hot comfort food is definitely in order.
As the weather gets cooler, a taste of hot comfort food is definitely in order. Shrug on that sweater and head to the 26th annual Jambalaya Jam, hosted by Capital Area United Way. Almost 50 teams from across south Louisiana will be competing to determine the best jambalaya around, and you can sample the goods while sipping drinks and catching some live entertainment. The Thursday event starts at 5 p.m. with tickets ranging from $7 for a to-go plate, $10 for an all-you-can-eat pass and $75 for a VIP ticket. All proceeds will go toward the Capital Area United Way.
