Easter specials

Easter may not hold the same foodie significance as Thanksgiving or Christmas, with the lavish feasts celebrated in popular culture, but there’s still an opportunity for indulgence—especially as you let your hair down after the long Lenten season. Bravo! Cucina Italiana will hold a special early Easter breakfast buffet this Saturday, April 16 for a morning full of fun festivities—including a visit from the Easter Bunny, a coloring contest, egg hunt and more. Best of all, $3 of every ticket sold will go towards the March of Dimes’ Louisiana Chapter. Texas de Brazil will be open at noon on Easter Sunday itself, serving up traditional cuts of lamb, as well as beef, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage for a very meaty meal. There are several excellent Easter brunch options in and around town: Juban’s will host its spectacular Easter Sunday brunch, an annual affair. White Oak Plantation is offering an Easter Sunday brunch with a prix fixe menu stuffed with delicious Cajun classics. Fleming’s Steakhouse will serve up a delectable Easter Brunch, with choices like filet mignon frittatas and crčme brulee. Know of a place we missed?
