Draw your own Saturday morning cartoons

Parents of kids who’ve always wanted to create their own comic strips can sign them up for Baton Rouge Gallery’s Saturday Morning Cartoons workshop. This weekend class, led by Ethan Gautreau, teaches kids from ages 8 to 13 basic drawing techniques, like how to draw people, animals and various characters. The workshop is scheduled for three consecutive Saturdays, Nov. 7, 14, and 21, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at BREC’s Womack Administrative Building on 6201 Florida Boulevard.
