Doomsday comes first to DVD

In a kind of mish-mash of action schlock clichés, Rhona Mitra stars in this futuristic disaster movie about a devastating plague blatantly named “the reaper virus” that sweeps the U.K. into chaos. Three decades after the initial outbreak, a team of scientists must investigate a quarantined war zone in search of a cure. Fans of 28 Days Later, Dawn of the Dead, and ironic action movies, should enjoy this thriller from director Neil Marshall. Rated R.
