Don’t miss an inspiring opportunity to meet the odd couple

Ron Hall and Denver Moore, authors of Same Kind of Different as Me, will speak about their book at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3 at the Baton Rouge River Center Theatre. Hall, an upscale art dealer, met a homeless Moore, who grew up picking cotton in “virtual slavery.” The pair will share their incredible, life-changing story written into their book. United Methodist Hope Ministries, a charity that supports impoverished families in North Baton Rouge, put the event together. Tickets are $25 in advance through Ticketmaster, and $35 at the door.
