Dining Out For Life tonight

Local restaurants will participant in the Dining Out For Life national event tonight. Five participating restaurants—Bistro Byronz, California Pizza Kitchen, Mestizos, Monjunis and Stroubes—will donate 25% of their lunch or dinner sales to the HIV/AIDS Alliance for Region Two (HAART).

Created by a Philadelphia ActionAIDS volunteer in 1991, Dining Out For Life is now held in 60 cities throughout the country and Canada. Baton Rouge is now No. 1 for AIDS cases and No. 3 for HIV cases in the United States. HAART provides health insurance assistance, housing, case management and more to individuals and families living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS. For more information, visit the HAART website.
