David St. Romain set to play Schlittz-a-Palooza

Schlittz & Giggles presents its first July Fourth celebration: Schlittz-a-Palooza. Back-to-back musical acts behind the pizza parlor on Florida Street downtown include bluegrass by the Fugitive Poets, tween singer Lindsay Mendez,  New Orleans funk band Michael Liuzza Group, country star David St. Romain and indie rocksters the Last Chalaron. 2 p.m. to midnight. $10. Free for children under 12.
