Dark Knight midnight tickets selling fast

“The night is darkest just before the dawn. And I promise you, the dawn is coming!”

If you’re the type who just has to see the first screening of The Dark Knight, hurry and purchase movie tickets online. As of noon Thursday, more than half of Baton Rouge’s theater seats for the midnight screening of the newest Batman flick were sold.

Cinemark at Perkins Rowe still has tickets for the 12:03 a.m. and 12:04 a.m. screenings. The first two screenings are sold out.

Rave Motion Pictures at the Mall of Louisiana is showing the movie at 11:59 p.m. on eight of its screens. Five auditoriums are already sold out, and the others are about halfway sold.

Rave Motion Pictures on O’Neal at I-10 will show the movie at 11:59 p.m. in four auditoriums, one of which is sold out already. The second auditorium is almost full, and the other two are pretty open.

Citiplace , which is screening at 12:01 a.m., has about 240 tickets left.

There are plenty of tickets left for the weekend screenings, but safest way to guarantee a ticket, especially to the evening shows, is to purchase a ticket earlier in the day.
