Curiouser and curiouser at LASM

Starting this Saturday, the Lousiana Art and Science Museum celebrates the inventiveness of Americans with the Curious World of Patent Models, a display of 50 turn-of-the-century patent models on loan from the Rothschild Collection. Each handmade miniature is unique and comes complete with its original handwritten tag. Marvel at the ingenuity of the gadgets and mechanisms, and compare them to the more familiar forms we know them by today. Runs through May 9th. Visit lasm.org for more details.
