Cruisin’ and bruisin’ Derby

Skates, skirts and scars rule as the Red Stick Roller Derby presents a double-header bout this Saturday at the River Center. First up, Baton Rouge’s undefeated all-stars, the Diables Rouges, will battle the Burn City Rollers. Then, the rookie Capital Defenders will take on the Bayou Outlaw Rollergirls from Orange, Tx. in a knock-down, drag-out bout. These lovely ladies will teach you a whole new meaning of “Hell on Wheels” as they fight it out on the track with their fellow rollergirls at the last bout of the season. Tickets are $12 in advance, $14 at the door, and kids under 12 get in free when accompanied by an adult.
