Cruise the city Saturday with Mayor Kip

For all the aspiring Lance Armstrongs in the city, join Mayor Kip Holden for Family Bike Day, a two-mile bicycle cruise from the levee at the USS Kidd to Skip Bertman Drive and back. The ride begins at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 28, and ends with food, face painting, a tour of the USS Kidd and other entertaining activities for the entire family. Some free helmets will be distributed to children, and Academy Sports will have a drawing for a new bike. Free.
