Crazy for Dutchtown theater

If you haven’t watched Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in Shall We Dance, rent it this week to build up enthusiasm for Dutchtown High’s summer musical, Crazy for You. The high school actors, singers and dancers take the stage for this Tony Award-winning romantic comedy featuring the music of Ira and George Gershwin. Catch the performances at Dutchtown High, 7 p.m. July 17-19, and a 2 p.m. matinee Sunday. The musical then changes venues, to Baton Rouge Little Theatre, 7 p.m. Aug. 1-2, and a 2 p.m. matinee Aug. 3.
