The participating restaurants are Bin 77, Culinary Productions, Galatoire’s Bistro, Hot Tails Restaurant, Juban’s, Latil’s Landing Restaurant at Houmas House Plantation, Mestizo’s, Outback Steakhouse, The Pelican House, Ralph & Kacoo’s, Restaurant IPO, Ruffino’s, Sammy’s Grill and Catering, Stroube’s Steakhouse and Sullivan’s Steakhouse.

Tickets are $50 per person. Proceeds support the Epicurean Society’s childhood health and nutrition programs in the Greater Baton Rouge area.

One dish from the menu that caught our eye: a crawfish and lobster tower from Chef Jeremy Langlois of Latil’s Landing. The plate is piled with spiced Louisiana crawfish and lobster salad, layered with avocado and papaya and served with pickled trinity, Houmas House-grown cucumbers and garlic chive blossoms. —Matthew Sigur
