Cowboy up

Cowboys from across the country are bringing the show to Baton Rouge this weekend. The Chris Shivers Invitational heads to the River Center Friday and Saturday and features some of the best professional bull riders facing off. All eyes will be on Joao Ricardo Vieira, a 29-year-old who has won three of the last six such events. The festivities kick off at 7:30 p.m. Friday and continue Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $20 and are available here.
