Copious Notes at Hopkins Black Box
Starting tonight, the Hopkins Black Box Theatre in Coates Hall on LSU Campus will present a brief run of Copious Notes: A Nostalgia Tale. This staged reading dramatizes the relations between performance, nostalgia, time, and space. The story follows Ambi, an ambidextrous graduate student confronted with the conflicts of her ambiguous status as tourist/pilgrim, African/American, and ethnographer/nostalgic. The show is free to the public. 7:30 p.m., Wednesday through Friday.
