Cool cellos at Manship

A group of crazed cello enthusiasts rethink their classical instruments and rework modern pop tunes from Guns n’ Roses and Abba when the Portland Cello Project comes to the Manship Theatre this Friday night. Creating unusual and beautiful arrangements of Kanye West and Pantera, you won’t believe cellos could be so cool. 8 p.m. Tickets are $25-$35 at manshiptheatre.org.
