Contemporary art exhibit a must-see

An exhibition of contemporary art by some of the world’s most celebrated artists recently opened at the LSU Museum of Art. Entitled “An Adventure in the Arts: The Permanent Collection of the Guild Hall Museum,” this traveling exhibition features 73 works by more than 40 artists spanning the early 20th century through the present. The exhibit includes works by Willem de Kooning, Max Ernst, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, Jackson Pollock and Andy Warhol. The show hangs through June 8. (Photo credit: Courtesy Guild Hall Museum)
