City of Ember on DVD/Blu-Ray

Based on Jeanne Duprau’s popular family-friendly fantasy, City of Ember follows two precocious kids, Lina Mayfleet and Doon Harrow, who refuse to accept the status quo and end up changing their entire world, a post-nuclear war world lit by an array of fantastically engineered lights. But the City of Ember’s power is mysteriously fading, and the young heroes must find a way to save their home from certain doom. Bill Murray stars as the city’s nefarious mayor, and Tim Robbins plays Doon’s father. Mackenzie Crook, Toby Jones and Martin Landau co-star. Rated PG.
