Swingin’ in the New Year
The Manship Theatre swings in 2007 Rat Pack-style with performances by special guests Jamie Wax and Ned Fasullo & The Fabulous Big Band Orchestra among others. A champagne toast kicks off the festivities at 7:30 p.m. followed by a performance in the theatre and post-show dancing. Avoyelles Café specialties will be served throughout the night, and a New Year’s toast in the Studio and Workshop Theatres will officially mark the midnight hour. Festive attire and dancing shoes are requisite for the celebration. Tickets are $125 for the complete evening. A limited number of $75 tickets are available and include the post-show dancing and the buffet, which begins at 10:00 p.m.
