Chelsea’s show benefits musician’s daughter

Local singer Luke Ash’s 1-year-old girl, Ruth, is recovering from a traumatic surgery, having a tumor removed from her brain. Because the family struggles to pay for medical bills and Ruth’s continued treatment, several local musicians are pulling together Rock for Ruthy, a benefit concert at Chelsea’s Monday, Dec. 15. Performances by Peter Simon, Andrew Duhon, Jacob Zachary, Britton Newton and Rachel Hebert kick off at 10 p.m. $5 at the door, and other donations are welcome.
