We’re really not sure what Vincent Van Gogh knew about vodka, but the Dutch at Van Gogh Vodka seem to know a thing or two about it. Chiefly, that it is better with caffeine. Being a community that knows what to do with coffee, we can probably find a lot to do with Van Gogh Double Espresso Vodka, too. Try ordering it in your White Russian. Or for a less formal approach, just pour it directly into your favorite coffee mug and add some Bailey’s if the milk is expired. Already studying hard for the new semester or need a pick-me-up before leaving the kids with a sitter for a night on the town? Just try a shot or two of this concoction available at a number of local bars and by the bottle at Elio Marcello’s Wine Warehouse on Perkins Road. Coffee-flavored liqueurs are out.
