Nothing says summer like a cold, fruity alcoholic beverage, be it a Cosmopolitan, mojito, margarita or martini. Refreshing is the order of the season, so all juices must be freshly squeezed. The drinks might be potent, but they go down smooth. “People associate summer drinks with things they wish they were doing, like going to the beach,” says Josh Duke, a veteran Baton Rouge bartender now working at California Pizza Kitchen in Perkins Rowe. “They want to drink something that’s colorful or looks pretty.
