The Baton Rouge Zoo hosts plenty of games, music and more for its annual spring festival. The Zippity Zoo Fest opens Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with loads of fun stuff planned, including a photo contest winners gallery, children’s village, face painting and more. On Saturday, there will be music from Dorothy and the Shaky Egg Band at 11 a.m., Rae and the Line Band at 2 p.m. and Rockin’ Rouge Band at 3 p.m. On Sunday, festivities continue with more music, including the Baton Rouge Kids’ Orchestra at 12:30 p.m. and the Greater Baton Rouge Children’s Choir at 2 p.m. The zoo grounds will close at 6 p.m. The festival is included in admission.
