Check out two indie comedies at Manship

Two critically acclaimed new independent comedies will be screened at Manship Theatre this week and next. Up first is Crystal Fairy and the Magical Cactus, which will play Wednesday and Thursday at 7 p.m. The film stars Michael Cera as an insensitive twenty-something who meets some eccentric characters as he travels to Chile. Tickets are $8.50 and can be purchased here. Next week, Manship will show Prince Avalanche, the new film from David Gordon Green starring Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch, Sunday-Tuesday at 7 p.m. Check out Jeff Roedel’s preview of that film here.
