Do you want to pick up fresh, locally grown food but live too far from downtown to make the Red Stick Market a convenient weekend stop? Perhaps the recently opened St. Margaret’s Market on Perkins Road at Siegen Lane may be a more convenient source for you. Since it first began in June, this small market has gathered a large local following. Booths feature fresh produce, breads, Gulf shrimp, honey, yard eggs and even fresh Mexican food—as well as artist’s booths featuring woodwork and jewelry.
